Movember, The Beard Care, and Health

So, this is that month of the year when you will spot a lot of men sporting a beard. It’s  Movember. It is a foundation that helps men talk about their health, spreading awareness about prostate cancer and live happily. What would it be like without the man you love? While men are challenged to grow their beards, women are actively participating in fundraising events. This is towards a greater cause and if you have not known why Movember, you know now.

My husband fondly grows his beard to support this cause and also because I love it on him. However, I realized there are problems sometimes for him to deal with his beard. That led me to research beard care for men when it comes to maintaining that fine beard.

Beard care for that Movember beard

If it is too hot and you have a full-grown beard there are chances you will have constant itching issues and some also experience fungal infections. That’s gross for your skin. Now, since the weather has begun to cool down a little, your beard is trouble-free (almost) yet requires care. Here’s a list of things you must have in your vanity to keep that beard lustrous and happy.

1. Aloe Vera Gel by Iba

It is absolutely natural and in fact a great product for the health of your skin. All you need to do is squeeze a little and apply it over your beard evenly. It will not only help your beard remain soft but also manageable. Iba’s aloe vera gel is vegan and natural with absolutely no chemicals in the product. We have been using it at home and once you start using it, you will know why I highly recommend it. Amazing product!

2. Beard Care Shampoo by Ustraa

Just like our hair needs shampooing 3-4 times a week, boys, your beard needs some shampooing too. It will keep away the bacteria accumulation at all times. Try this one by Ustraa which has cedar wood with aloe vera, rosemary and almonds.

3. Beard Softener

There are two products I my husband totally loves: Honest Amish Beard Balm Leave-in Conditioner which is completely natural and vegan-friendly and Woody Beard softener by Ustraa. A conditioner always in handy if you like to style your beard or just keep the hair tamed.

4. Beard Trimmers/Shapers by Phillips

When you keep a beard for long there will always be some hair growth beyond the line of shape that you like. To keep that clean you need a good trimmer. Phillips has some good trimmers and you can pick one from their range for your beard care.

5. Beard oil by Beardo

Why do you need a beard oil? To maintain its upkeep and also have a faster growth. Beardo beard and moustache oil ensure you never lost that shine off your growing Movember beard.

That’s pretty much what you should have to keep your beards healthy. These are all pocket-friendly products and I am sure your Movember beard will make you happy enough to continue having it on! Also, your health is as important as ours, so how about talking about it and doing something at the earliest?

Lots of love!
